How long does it take to switch business energy supplier?

If a domestic customer were to switch energy deals it would take no longer than 17 days. Switching business energy suppliers on the other hand can take up to six weeks. If your business is still under contract with another supplier or if your new supplier doesn't have the details they need, then switching business energy may take longer.
