TalkTalk Business launches study to improve telecoms
20/12/2011
TalkTalk Business has commissioned the UK's largest IT and telecoms study, to provide a measure on the impact of company IT and network services on business performance and the British economy as a whole.
As a part of the project, TalkTalk Business wants businesses to question the state of their telecoms infrastructure, in order to help the company increase the performance of business telecoms and IT services.
The study aims to compile its results and give customers access to their performance ratings on a national business broadband barometer, in addition to being provided with recommendations to help companies improve for the future.
Andy Lockwood, spokesman for TalkTalk Business, stated: "Efficient business communication is key to increased productivity and improved performance.
"[It's] the lifeblood of any organisation [and] integration of business grade technology can help to support growth and stimulate the economy."
After taking part in the business broadband barometer, companies will be invited to join in the FutureFit View, which is a unique survey to enable TalkTalk Business to give strategic advice to businesses to future-proof companies against business telecom rises and tariff changes.
Businesses can also improve their competitiveness in the resale field by taking part in the telecom's company's state of the nation report.
Companies that want to take part should fill in a poll that will enable analysts to gauge how businesses are faring against other resellers, dealers and system integrators.
Mr Lockwood explained that the report will allow businesses to investigate how they can "overcome their perceived IT barriers", by analysing issues such as awareness and access to hosted cloud solutions.
It is hoped that TalkTalk Business' efforts will lead to greater support for businesses, in addition to information from which to build future telecom strategies.
By enabling businesses to access information about their companies performance, they may be able to see how cost efficient and comprehensive services can help entrepreneurs stimulate growth.
