This is why you need to wait for your 'switching window' before you can switch to another business gas supplier. This window varies between different energy suppliers - it can be as long as 4 months or as short as 30 days.

If you're within your switching window, you will be able to switch your business gas tariff. Energy suppliers are not always proactive about making your renewal window clear, because failure to act means you roll over onto much higher rates when your contract finishes. How do I switch my business gas?

Once we've found you a business gas quote that you're happy with, we'll take care of the switching process for you. All you need to do is send a termination letter to your current supplier within your switching window to let them know that you're going to leave them - and that's only if you're switching to a new supplier.

We've provided a template for you. Simply fill in the form and we'll generate a document that you can print out and put in the post.

After this, we'll do all the administration to get you set up with your new contract. If you've moved into new business premises, we can have your supply connected within just 4 - 6 weeks. Alternatively, many of our customers prefer to request a specific date for the supply transfer.
