Located in Central London, Make It Cheaper was formed in 2007 by a team of seasoned business cost consultants with many years experience in utilities and working with small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs). Answering a need for free and impartial information about business utility prices, it has quickly grown to become the UK's leading price comparison and switching service for businesses.

We provide significant cost savings for SMEs across a range of products and are passionate about getting the best deals for our customers. It is this passion which has attracted partners from most of the major household price comparison services, charities, membership organisations, banks, trade associations and a number of other SME champions. As a result of these partnership channels, we receive more price enquiries and arrange more new contracts than any other business-only price comparison service.

Because of the volume of deals we negotiate, the prices we offer are often better than you could find shopping around on you own. Our service is quick and easy but, most importantly, is free to use and without any obligation. We earn a small fee from suppliers for introducing new customers, but it never gets in the way of our impartiality.

Your first call should take no more than 5 minutes per product but - to speed up your enquiry - it would help to have: company registration number, your annual spend or consumption and, for business electricity and gas, the supply number shown on bill (beginning with an 'S'). If you don't have this to hand - we have access to of the utility supply information needed to find out who your current supplier is and what your meter numbers are. We also offer a free Contract Checking service to work out exactly when your current supplier will allow you to switch to better rates.
